The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will manage the recovery and disposal of recovered assets, alongside assisting with setting Residual Values, providing in-life asset valuations across the business both at loan inception and when defaults arise. This is a newly created role, meaning that you can have a meaningful and visible impact on the business by achieving above-trade valuations on asset sales and minimising losses.
Working hours and location
Our standard work hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. The Collections and Recoveries team is based in our Wellingborough head office and typically works onsite three days per week. However, as you will travel to client sites for asset inspections, we will discuss onsite requirements based on your home location.

What you will do
- Own the Asset Recovery and Sale Process to maximise returns by exploring cost-effective remarketing channels.
- Support any Residual Value end-of-term assets to ensure immediate payment and loan completion, and instigate asset recovery as and when necessary.
- Provide Asset valuations to our Credit, Risk, and Collections/Recoveries teams.
- Provide Asset Management oversight to support our new and future credit decisions.
- Conduct client visits/asset inspections to provide assurance as to the condition, maintenance, and safekeeping of assets.
- Maintain and grow our existing Recovery Agent relationships to aid the prompt and timely recovery of any assets subject to repossession action.
- Build an enhanced pool of approved Remarketing Agents that will help support an industry-leading asset remarketing function.
- Produce accurate and current Management Information to demonstrate the strategic approach, achievements, and challenges being encountered.
What you will bring
- At least five years’ experience as an Asset Manager dealing with a wide range of asset classes. If you have less than five years’ experience, you will need to have DIPAF or MICM.
- Experience in both regulated and non-regulated loan environments.
- It would be nice for you to have a background in mechanics, engineering, or a related field.
