I’m looking for experienced Working Foremen with a carpentry or joinery background for two contractors working across the North West. Projects range from £50k to £1m and are mainly residential refurbishments and extensions. You’ll run the job day to day, coordinate trades and subcontractors, and get on the tools yourself when needed. You will be supported by the Project Manager who will regularly be on site but will have responsibility for up to 3 projects at a time.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Planning the day’s work and making sure trades are on site in the right order
  • Keeping the job on programme and flagging delays or issues early
  • Making sure the site is safe and the work is finished to a good standard
  • Carrying out carpentry and joinery work as needed

What you’ll need:

  • Experience overseeing residential refurbishments and extensions
  • A carpentry or joinery background and your own tools
  • Valid SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS card

If you’re interested, drop me a message with where you’re based, when you’re available and a brief outline of the residential jobs you’ve run. Happy to have a chat and tell you more about both opportunities.
