At North, we value the power of connecting people, skills and technologies in new and exciting ways.Description of Role As a Safety & Security Engineer you will be responsible for:Install, commission and servicing of our wide range of field equipment including fire and intruder alarm systems, CCTV, access control, audio visual, public address & voice alarm systemsRetrofit upgrades/extensions to existing systems as part of remedial works packagesProvide high levels of customer serviceUnderstand site plans to allow installs to take part based on site survey documentationReactive call outs to site, with an aim to provide a first-time fixProvide on-site technical support and solutions to customers during both reactive and planned visitsComplete documentation in line with company standardsWork within strict H & S guidelinesAdvise customers on the latest products and services to improve efficiencyQualifications For development purposes the following knowledge, skills and experience are required.Skills Knowledge of industry standard manufacturers (Bosch, Dahau, Hikvision, Gent, Advanced, Gallagher, PAC, Win-Pak, Veracity, Milestone)Good people management skillsTechnical expertise in predominant skillset areaCompetent admin skills with sound working knowledge of internal business systemSound commercial awareness, knowledge of design and pricing of systems and upgradesService oriented, but can interchange on install related tasks when requiredGood verbal communicatorExcellent team player and relationship builderPrevious employment within a BAFE/ SSAIB/ NSI accredited companyValid CSCS/ECS cardIPAF/ PASMA/ Asbestos Awareness certificationRecent/current electrical qualificationsPreference given to candidates with proven Gallagher Access Control skills and knowledgeBehaviours Canβdo attitude and will to succeedEmpathetic and supportiveBest practice delivery focusedSeniority level Entry levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Information TechnologyIndustries Telecommunications
