Join North Yorkshire Together to lead and develop a countywide partnership that supports communities across North Yorkshire to feel happy and healthy. North Yorkshire Together is a partnership between North Yorkshire Sport, North Yorkshire Youth and Rural Arts. We currently support over 5,000 people each year through programmes including Free School Meals support and work with refugees, and we are a partner in Village Green, a community-led climate change initiative.
We’re looking for an experienced and inspiring leader with strong partnership, management and strategic development skills. You will champion collaboration across the VCSE sector, grow the profile and impact of North Yorkshire Together, and provide direction to staff working across multiple organisations. Experience of working within North Yorkshire and an understanding of the evolving funding and local government landscape would be an advantage.
This senior role will provide strategic leadership across programmes, partnerships, fundraising, communications and governance, working collaboratively with North Yorkshire Sport, North Yorkshire Youth and Rural Arts. You will be employed by North Yorkshire Sport and report jointly to the CEOs of North Yorkshire Sport, North Yorkshire Youth and Rural Arts, while working day-to-day with colleagues across all partner organisations, with your base agreed in Harrogate or Thirsk, alongside regular travel across North Yorkshire.
Salary: £40,000–£44,000 per annum | Hours: 37 hrs per week (30 hrs considered) | Term: Fixed-term to March 2029
