Location: North Yorkshire - Force-wide - Scarborough, Harrogate, York & Northallerton.

How to Apply - Recruitment Process & Conditions: To be eligible to apply, you will have successfully completed your two/three year probationary period (depending on your entry route). NYP currently only accepts transferring Officers from other UK Home Office Forces. The recruitment process will follow a set programme of application, paper sift, competency based interview, conditional offer, vetting (including biometrics), medical checks, reference checks and fitness test. Applicants must hold the National Standard Driving Qualification.

Key Dates:

  • Closing Date: 9:00am on Monday 12th May 2025
  • Interviews: are planned for Week commencing 26th May 2025 online via MS Teams.
  • Start date: Successful Candidates start on our 6th October 2025 Cohort - Transferee Course.
