Multi skilled Railway Operator
Based in Grosmont
Salary £12.60 per hour
Permanent – Full or Part time positions available.

The Role Will Include
- Contribute to the daily management of the operations roster, staff and volunteers
- Support colleagues with service delivery and implementing timetable.
- Contribute to training and management of competence of operations staff.
- Carrying out other operational roles where competent to do so including, Mobile Operating Manager, Ground Frame Operator, Controller, Guard/Shunter, Signalman, Pilotman, PICOP
- Working with the wider team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the railway
Hours Of Work
Working longer hours per week during the main operating season (March – October) including working bank holidays and weekends on a rota basis and less hours per week from November to February.
Essential Criteria
- Experience in a number of safety critical railway operation roles
- Good non-technical skills
- Good standard of general education
- UK Driving licence and own transport
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in multiple operating roles on a heritage railway
- IOSH Managing Safely
