The predicted salary is between 18 - 19 £ per hour.

Bank contract: 7 days a week covering early, late, twilight and night shifts at Saint Michael’s Hospice, Harrogate. Pay: £18.62–£19.15 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Develop tailored care plans, administer medication and manage symptoms to ensure comfort.
  • Collaboratively work with a multidisciplinary team and manage patient admissions and discharges.
  • Provide emotional support for patients and families, offering compassionate care.
  • Lead by example in delivering high‑quality, holistic care within the inpatient unit.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Registered nurse with a UK nursing qualification, at least 2 years post‑qualification experience and current NMC registration.
  • Pass first validation.
  • Passionate about palliative, hospice or specialist ward care.
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, empathetic approach to complex care situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close‑knit team.
