We are looking for volunteers to support the Head Chef delivering consistently high-quality food and handling purchase orders. To volunteer with the kitchen team to provide catering services to Patients, Visitors and staff according to their needs, ensuring that food hygiene standards are maintained.

Key Tasks

  • Simple daily food preparation and duties assigned by the Head Chef/Chef on duty to meet the standard and the quality set by the Hospice.
  • Follow health codes and cleanliness standards in the food storage areas and kitchen.
  • Set up rooms for Functions/Clear these Functions.
  • Support with meal delivery.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of catering.
  • Basic cooking skills.
  • To have or have held a food hygiene certificate.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work unsupervised.
