Bereavement Support Volunteer with Children and Young People, Harrogate

Location: Crimple House, Harrogate, Thirsk (The Lambert) with optional travel to local schools.

Hours: 3 hours per week (plus 1 hour per month for group supervision and 1 hour for training and CPD).

Commitment: Minimum of one year of volunteering.

Timeline: Application Start Date 01-07-2026, Application End Date 22-07-2026.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to children, young people and their families living with bereavement.

Following training, conduct one‑to‑one support sessions, facilitating young people to talk, process grief and receive support.

Volunteers will also attend group supervision and training as required.

Requirements
