Salary: £35,745 SCP 27 (£1701.79 Gross per month)

Hours: Part Time, 22.5 per week

Location: Selby, North Yorkshire, Based at Trust head office (Selby Community Primary School)

We are looking to recruit a strong Management Accountant for the Trust who is enthusiastic and inspiring. The candidate should have the motivation to develop themselves professionally and collaborate with others as well as the ability to develop strong relationships with the Trust team.

The successful applicant will have relevant up to date experience of accountancy and professional codes of practice. You must also be able to demonstrate your ability to produce financial reports, supervise a team and build excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will join a small dedicated central finance team who are committed to provide the highest standards of financial support across the Trust. Your contribution to ensure best practice, compliance with relevant legislation and the Academies Financial procedures are essential to this role.

Selby Educational Trust began in January 2016 and currently contains 6 primary Schools: Selby Community Primary School, Carlton Primary School, Strawberry Fields Primary School, Cliffe VC Primary School, Fairburn Community Primary School and Aberford VC Primary School. The position is based at the SET central office on Flaxley Road, Selby.

The post is offered on an established basis and is subject to a 6 month probationary period. Selby Educational Trust is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
