Make Care Matter – enable people to live the lives they deserve!
Reablement plays a major part in reshaping the future of care and support – helping people to live longer, healthier and more independent lives. It differs from the traditional residential care associated with care work. Supporting people to do things for themselves again, by maintaining and improving independence enabling more fulfilled lives in their own homes.
Here\’s how some of our team describe the best parts of their job:
\”I am part of a team that works well together and all care passionately about the people we look after, sharing ideas and work practices. Seeing the progression that people make on a week by week basis and it is lovely when they regain their independence and no longer need our service.\”
We currently have an opportunity for a Reablement Care and Support Worker to join our Harrogate North team.
This is an extremely rewarding role where you can realise the impact of the great work you do on a daily basis – you could be part of our team and share these great experiences with the people you support.
We provide high quality training, support and development – the training and qualifications you complete with us are fully paid for and there is no cost to you.
If you\’ve got experience, that\’s great, we\’d love to hear from you. If not, don\’t worry, we\’ll give you all the help and support you need to settle in quickly. If you do not already hold the Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care that isn\’t a problem we will support you to achieve this through our apprenticeship training route.
Given the nature of the role you must have the ability to travel across own and neighbouring teams to work in the homes of adults with Care and Support needs.
There will be a requirement for you to work some evenings and weekends on a rota basis as part of a 7 day service covering the hours between 7am and 10pm.
So, what are you waiting for? Join our amazing team today!
