Town and Country Care Ltd are looking for a Community Care Assistant to join their team. The shifts available will either suit 2 part-time roles, or 1 full-time role, between 16-36 hours per week. The role will involve supporting clients in the community as part of our domiciliary care team, therefore all applicants must hold a UK driving licence.
The local, family-run company has been operating for 16 years and supports almost 100 local clients across Whitby and Staithes, making it the largest and longest established Home Care provider in the Whitby area. We always look for caring and friendly candidates to join our team, no experience is required as all training is provided, all we ask is for you to have a friendly and kind nature with a good work ethic.
Your role will involve visiting elderly and vulnerable clients in their own homes. We operate in small teams and each team has access to a company vehicle for long distance visits. The shift pattern involves working every-other weekend; weekday shifts can be negotiated.

- Personal Care
- Medication Assistance

Job incentives:
- Higher rates of pay for NVQ trained staff and increased with each year of service
- Overtime premium for covering holidays and absence.
- Set minimum hours per shift to compensate for cancellations, hospitalisations or gaps
- Set fortnightly rota
- 2 monthly £25 attendance bonus for 100% attendance
- Monthly £10 data payments for mobile phone usage
- Staff room with free refreshments
- Access to 3 company vehicles
- 50p per mile to cover fuel use and wear and tear
- All training provided, including care certificate and NVQ opportunities
- Free uniform and PPE plus all training and shadowing work is paid at normal rat
