Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and passionate about supporting school governance? Leeds Diocesan Learning Trust is looking for skilled and committed Casual Governance Clerks to join our growing team supporting Local Academy Councils across our Leeds cluster of primary schools.

LDLT is a vibrant and inclusive multi-academy trust rooted in the Church of England, serving 13 primary schools across North and West Yorkshire. The Role

As a Governance Clerk, you\’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of governance meetings. You\’ll support Local Academy Councils by:

• Preparing and distributing agendas and meeting papers

• Attending and accurately minuting council meetings (typically four per year)

• Providing procedural and governance advice

• Monitoring actions and ensuring compliance with Trust procedures

You\’ll work independently, flexibly around scheduled meetings, and liaise with school governors, the Chair, and our central team. This role is casual and perfect for those seeking meaningful work with flexibility.
