The York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority was established as a new organisation in early 2024. It is a public sector employer with access to powers and funding to unlock transport and housing improvements, boost skills provision and help the economy transition to net zero for York and North Yorkshire. The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of The Connect to Work Programme in York and North Yorkshire. The Programme, a major element of the Government\’s Get Britain Working Strategy, aims to support disabled people, those with health conditions and people with complex barriers to employment, to seek to find sustainable work. You will be a part of a small, multi-disciplined team, responsible for project management and administrative support for the effective delivery of the Connect to Work programme. You will work with delivery partners, supporting them to submit accurate and timely data and information. You will also be required to work within external funding partner processes and systems.

What you will bring

To be successful you will have a good working knowledge of project management methodology and experience of collating and processing data and information.

You will also possess

• The ability to establish effective working relationships, both internally and with a range of external organisations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

We are looking for candidates with experience of supporting project management functions and would welcome applicants who have had experience of working within HM Government funding programmes and systems.
