We have an opportunity to join our award-winning Facilities Management catering team where you will be providing tasty, nutritious, home-cooked meals made from locally sourced fresh produce. We are a ‘fresh food’ organisation encouraging children and young people to choose nutritious meals, eat well, and fuel their appetite for learning. We are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team at Selby Abbey Primary School. As a Catering Assistant, your role will be to support the Catering Manager in delivering an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety. On a daily basis, you will be serving meals to students and staff. You will be a valued member of our friendly team who is reliable, dependable, and committed, working from 11:15 am to 13:00 pm totalling 8.75 hours per week. No weekend work! You will work term time weeks only; however, you will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year. For this, you will be paid £12.85 per hour in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement.
