About the service
Fostering North Yorkshire is a county service committed to developing excellent practice. Comprised of two large teams across North Yorkshire with dedicated roles, providing the supervision and support to our approved foster carers. The fostering service continues to embed its core values of providing and supporting local children in local placements. We are extremely proud of our Children and Families Ofsted report, rating us as ‘Outstanding’ in all provisions across our children’s social care services.
About the Role
The successful candidate will join a county fostering service committed to developing excellent practice in line with the Fostering Regulations and National Minimum Standards. You will need to be committed to developing excellent outcomes for children through creating productive working relationships with a wide range of services to support our fostering families.
What we’re looking for:
- Social Work England Registered professional
- A confident practitioner and able to develop our foster carers in meeting children’s needs.
- Familiarity with the assessment process for foster carers and the standards that need to be met.
- Commitment to seeking excellent outcomes for children through building productive working relationships with a wide range of services to support our fostering families.
You will be joining a highly motivated team seeking to deliver high quality foster care in line with the National Fostering Regulations and National Minimum Standards for both family and friend foster carers and unrelated foster carers.
