The role: Working in small crews, you will be collecting waste from the local area using small collection vehicles. This will include:

  • Collecting bulky waste
  • Emptying litter bins around the district
  • Attending fly tips
  • Assisting day to day operations in collecting waste

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of bins and other items in vans
  • Operating small waste collection vehicles to empty litter bins around the district
  • Operating small foot path sweepers
  • Collecting bulky waste from residents' houses
  • Attending fly tip collections

What you will bring:

  • You must have at least a 7.5 ton driving entitlement
  • Some knowledge and experience of operations of a goods vehicle
  • A focus and knowledge of safe working practices and general Health and Safety principles
  • Up to date CPC with a minimum of 2-3 years of validity
