Little Explorers Day Nursery is seeking a caring, enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and dedicated team. We are an Ofsted‑registered setting providing high‑quality early years education and childcare for children from birth to preschool age. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will work under the general direction of the Nursery Manager to deliver outstanding childcare and education, ensuring every child feels safe, supported and inspired to learn. We pride ourselves on providing a natural, homely environment that values sustainability, embraces diversity and supports children to develop at their own pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the physical, emotional, social and language development of children in your care
  • Assist with planning, delivering and evaluating engaging activities that support children’s learning and development
  • Act as a key person for allocated children, maintaining accurate learning journeys and contributing to termly reports for parents and schools
  • Supervise children during play, mealtimes and indoor/outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
  • Raise any concerns regarding a child’s health or development with the Nursery Manager
  • Help maintain a clean, safe and stimulating environment, ensuring equipment and resources are fit for purpose
