North Yorkshire Council’s Children’s Services have a national reputation for excellence, and we are now pleased to be offering the opportunity to join our highly acclaimed service and help us continue to offer excellent provision. We are looking for a Social Worker to join our Disabled Children’s Service. We also welcome those who are looking to relocate.

The Role

You will be working in a team that is constantly trying to improve outcomes for safeguarding disabled children and supporting their families. You will be based in a specialist team of social workers providing support and advice to children and young people with significant learning and physical disabilities aged 0-18 and their families. The team is committed to work with children and their families/carers, using a range of solution‑focussed, strength‑based relationship practice models.
