What You’ll Do
- Conduct site inspections and assess building plans to ensure full compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients, architects, and developers on compliance, technical standards, and best practices.
- Lead or support enforcement actions and contribute to maintaining high standards of public safety.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure a professional, solution-focused service.
What You’ll Bring
- A good understanding of Building Regulations and relevant legislation (Level 3, 4 or 5 Surveyors welcome).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational ability and attention to detail – able to manage your workload and work independently.
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn, adapt, and grow.
- Relevant qualifications (or working towards) in Building Control, Surveying or Construction disciplines.

*The basic salary for the post is from £34,434 – £42,839 plus a market supplement of £3,600 per annum, providing an annual salary package of up to £46,439. For the right candidate, a recruitment welcome payment of up to 10% of starting salary may be payable as a one-off welcome payment.
