We are recruiting across all levels:

  • Building Control Manager – Circa up to £59k* + 10% Recruitment Payment
  • Principal Building Control Surveyor – Circa up to £57k* + 10% Recruitment Payment
  • Senior Building Control Surveyor – Circa up to £51k* + 10% Recruitment Payment
  • Building Control Surveyor – Circa up to £46k* + 10% Recruitment Payment

What You’ll Do:

Depending on the role level, your responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting site inspections and assessing plans for compliance with Building Regulations.
  • Managing complex or high-risk developments and leading on enforcement actions.
  • Mentoring and developing junior surveyors.
  • Leading large-scale projects and investigations (Principal level).
  • Managing and developing a team of surveyors and overseeing operational performance (Manager level).
  • Supporting innovation, policy development and service transformation.

What You’ll Bring

We’re seeking people who are:

  • Qualified to Class 2a or above with the Building Safety Regulator (or working towards).
  • Skilled in interpreting and applying Building Regulations and associated legislation.
  • Excellent communicators with the ability to advise a range of stakeholders.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong team players with leadership experience (for Principal and Manager roles).
  • Passionate about safety, sustainability and high-quality building control.
