We are recruiting across all levels:
- Building Control Manager – Circa up to £59k* + 10% Recruitment Payment
- Principal Building Control Surveyor – Circa up to £57k* + 10% Recruitment Payment
- Senior Building Control Surveyor – Circa up to £51k* + 10% Recruitment Payment
- Building Control Surveyor – Circa up to £46k* + 10% Recruitment Payment
What You’ll Do:
Depending on the role level, your responsibilities may include:
- Conducting site inspections and assessing plans for compliance with Building Regulations.
- Managing complex or high-risk developments and leading on enforcement actions.
- Mentoring and developing junior surveyors.
- Leading large-scale projects and investigations (Principal level).
- Managing and developing a team of surveyors and overseeing operational performance (Manager level).
- Supporting innovation, policy development and service transformation.
What You’ll Bring
We’re seeking people who are:
- Qualified to Class 2a or above with the Building Safety Regulator (or working towards).
- Skilled in interpreting and applying Building Regulations and associated legislation.
- Excellent communicators with the ability to advise a range of stakeholders.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
- Strong team players with leadership experience (for Principal and Manager roles).
- Passionate about safety, sustainability and high-quality building control.
