Position Overview
1- 2 Support Workers are required for 20-36 daytime hours per week, to support a disabled gentleman with epilepsy who requires 24/7 care. The hours will be predominantly day shifts with occasional night time support over 7 days per week.
This could be a full time position for one worker or 20 hour position for 2 workers.
Responsibilities
- Support and assistance accessing community activities such as outdoor activities, concerts, theatre etc.
- Personal/health care needs, domestic assistance and encouragement to take part in activities within the community.
- Provide support during the gentleman’s one-week holiday twice a year which requires 24/7 care.
Qualifications
- Over the age of 25 due to motor insurance requirements.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Experience with Epilepsy is essential.
Pay
£14.70 per hour.
