Job Summary
A Female Support Assistant is required for 13.5 hours per week to support a lady who has ME with her independent living.
Hours & Flexibility
The hours are fairly flexible and a mix of morning or afternoon shifts, although hours on Thursday afternoons are required to support the lady to her yoga therapy class, and Tuesday\’s once a month to attend support group.
Usual hours are from 8-8.30 am (mornings)or from 12-12.30 pm (afternoon)
Pay & Leave
The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour with 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata)
Responsibilities
- Taking to and from support groups/appointments
- Light domestic chores
- Assisting with correspondence/paperwork
- Prompting
- Occasional personal care awareness/ support
Requirements
- It is essential that the PA must be a driver with own vehicle, and that they are patient, understanding, flexible with a sense of humour.
- A DBS is required for this position
Qualifications
- Home care: 2 years (preferred)
- Language: English (preferred)
- Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)
