Duties include supporting a 10-year-old non-verbal autistic boy. Monday mornings involve changing bedding, organising, and cleaning. Other days consist of morning care regime, getting him ready for school and taking him to school. A driver and car (provided) are essential for transport. Extra hours entail entertaining him in or out of the home (cinema, movies, play, etc.). Initially, you will work alongside another support assistant until DBS clearance is obtained.

  • Previous experience working with children with additional needs ideal but not essential; training will be provided
