A Personal Care Assistant/Companion is required for 24 hours per week to supervise an 88-year-old gentleman who has Alzheimer's, which will allow his daughter to go to work. The hours are over 3 days per week but need to be flexible over the 7 days per week (notice of days will be given) due to the daughter's work hours. The hours will be: 7.15 am till 3.30 pm.
The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour with 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata).
The gentleman requires supervision, companionship, light meal preparation, occasional personal care, and to accompany him for small walks near his home with his walker frame. He wanders around his home most of the time, so it’s making sure he is safe.
- Experience with Alzheimer’s/Dementia is essential.
