We are looking for Personal Assistants to support a gentleman with progressive MS who lives in an adapted bungalow.
Hours of Work: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm (6 hours per day), 7 days per week = 42 hours per week. Hours of each PA are open to negotiation to ensure the 42 hours are covered. Extra hours may be required to cover holidays and sickness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide transport to hospital and other medical appointments (applicant must hold a valid driving licence).
- Assist with personal care and toileting.
- Prepare meals and support with domestic tasks and housework.
- Support with physiotherapy exercises.
- Be willing to undertake hoist training.
Requirements:
- Fluent English speaker (male or female applicants welcome).
- Must be able to drive.
- Preferred: Driving Licence.
- Experience: 1 year moving & handling (preferred).
Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour.
