A Waking Night Care Assistant and Bank/Relief are required for 24 hours per week (2 x 12 hour waking night shifts 8 pm-8 am). These hours are to assist a young gentleman who has severe autism, epilepsy & learning disabilities, the gentleman lives in the family home.

Shift Details

The hours are: Every Tuesday and Wednesday night.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the client during nocturnal seizures, with a second sleeping PA/carer on the same shift if needed.
  • Provide personal care and administer medication.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience with Autism and Epilepsy would be ideal; training can be provided.
  • Driving Licence preferred.

Pay & Benefits

Rate of pay is £14.70 per hour, due to be reviewed, with 5.6 weeks annual holiday pro-rata. A DBS is required for this position.
