Overview
A Female Family Support Assistant is required for up to 11 hours per week.
The hours are: Tuesday & Wednesday Afternoons for 3 hours each, to support with School pick up times; Weekends: 5 hours on average per weekend. Please note: there may be some flexibility required for appointments etc. The hours could be split for 1 or 2 PA\’s.
Responsibilities
- Weekday hours will include healthy food prep/cooking, domestic chores and accompanying me to the pool (the support assistant will not have to go into the pool) or other short outings, occasional shopping, occasionally supporting me with childcare.
- The weekend support will be varied depending on our needs at the time. They will include the above tasks and support with outings including with our energetic 5-year-old and childcare support at home to allow my husband respite.
Qualifications & Requirements
- No care experience necessary but the successful applicant must be calm, patient and organised, have lots of initiative, plenty of energy and be fantastic with children.
- It is essential that the PA is a car owner is a must so I can get out and about as needed, (mileage allowance)
- Exception under the Equality Act(2010)- the post(s) is only open to female applicants due to the personal assistance required.
- A DBS including children is required (fees paid) and references will be required for this position
- Please note that there is a small friendly dog in the home.

- The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour plus a mileage allowance (whilst at work) and holiday pay.
