Overview
Get paid to enjoy good company and enable a visually impaired gentleman to support his son whilst he plays football around the area, taking them to and from matches and enjoying the youth football activities.
Responsibilities
Transport the visually impaired gentleman and his son to and from football matches and youth activities.
Assist with any required support during outings.
Requirements
Own a vehicle and hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
Good driving record and enhanced DBS required.
Comfortable with a guide dog travelling in the vehicle.
Interest in football and sports.
Availability of a few spare hours on weekdays and weekends.
Experience: 1 year working with visually impaired (preferred).
Driving licence (preferred).
Employment Details
Job type: Part‑time, Permanent.
Pay rate: £15.65 per hour plus mileage allowance.
Hours: Up to 8 hours per week based on a rota system; flexible; extra hours may be available for covering holidays or sickness.
Holiday allowance and travel expenses covered.
Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday, weekend availability.
