North Wingfield Primary & Nursery Academy are seeking to appoint a qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The successful candidate will be a kind, caring and nurturing individual who can work effectively as part of our dedicated school team. Recent experience within a primary school setting, along with experience of supporting children with special educational needs, is essential.
The role will involve providing classroom, one-to-one, behavioural and administrative support. A good understanding of the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice will enable the successful candidate to support and empathise with pupils who may face a range of challenges in their school life.
Applicants should possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
