The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 € per year.
You’ll contribute to the success of the Service department by undertaking all routine service and repair work on both Toyota and other vehicles. As a technician, you are in one of the most important roles at North Western Toyota – you keep our customers safe in their vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Conduct servicing and maintenance of customer and dealership vehicles (new and used).
- Carry out Pre Delivery Inspections (PDI’s) and accessory fitments.
- Provide exceptional service and maintenance to vehicles, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
- Perform repair tasks effectively and efficiently to resolve any vehicle issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems using modern equipment.
- Issue Warrants of Fitness (WOF) in line with certification requirements and maintain certification.
- Complete year‑on‑year training to stay up to date with industry advancements.
- Maneuver, park, and road‑test customer vehicles with care.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and security before returning to customers.
- Keep all work areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
- Communicate proactively with Service Advisors to coordinate service work.
Leadership & Teamwork
- Share knowledge and experience with team members, assisting apprentices and technicians.
- Work at other sites on short notice as required.
- Maintain professional behavior in line with company values and support colleagues.
Success Criteria
- Achieve TAT certification within 2 years of start date.
- Ensure customers drive away safely after service.
- Complete service and repair jobs within Toyota New Zealand set timeframes.
- Meet balanced scorecard targets for the Service department.
- Work safely for you and others at all times.
- Maintain accurate hourly accounting.
Skills & Experience
- WOF (Vehicle Inspector) certification.
