The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Location: North West Trucks, Huyton, L36 6AJ

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).

Salary: Dependent on experience (will be discussed at interview stage).

North West Trucks is looking for a motivated and commercially astute Business Development Manager to join the parts department, to drive growth, win new business, and strengthen relationships across the region. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on results, enjoys building connections, and wants to be part of a forward-moving business in the commercial vehicle sector.

This is a key role focused on identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth across our product and service offering. Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the commercial vehicle sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Promote the full range of North West Trucks products and services.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through to closing deals.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions for customers.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Ideally, we are looking for:
  • Proven experience in a business development or sales role (automotive or commercial vehicles preferred).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
