The College is seeking applications for a Senior Data Scientist. The Senior Data Scientist will provide leadership in data analytics, reporting, and digital insight across the College. The postholder will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with ETI, DfE, audit and externally funded project requirements, while driving a culture of evidence‑based decision‑making.
This role will research, design, and implement advanced analytical models and predictive tools to support curriculum, support services, financial planning, quality improvement, and strategic development. The postholder will translate complex data outputs into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders, managers, and external stakeholders.
The Senior Data Scientist will provide coordination to and steer the Online Services and Management Information System Team, ensuring robust data governance, continuous improvement, and alignment with sectoral best practice.
Contract Information
- Band 10 - £55,595 – £57,762 per annum
- 28 days annual leave per annum
- Nilgosc Pension Scheme
- Location: North West Regional College; hybrid working. Must be able to travel to Derry~Londonderry, Limavady and Strabane campuses as business requires.
