Kitchen Attendant/Till Operators assist in the safe, hygienic and efficient operation of the Food Hubs and support the delivery of wider hospitality requests within the College.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain kitchen/service/customer areas in accordance with College procedures
- Carry out general kitchen and dining room duties including washing up and clearing away equipment
- Clean all kitchens and restaurant surfaces, including floors, equipment, food and other storage areas
- Assist with the maintenance of records as required
- Empty and clean internal bins and remove rubbish to the designated collection point
Skills and Qualifications
- Have at least a Level 2 qualification in Food Hygiene or Food Preparation
- Have at least 1 years relevant employment experience working in a catering environment e.g. Cafe, Coffee Shop or Kitchen, with duties including cleaning, cooking or till operation
- Have employment experience of food preparation or cooking
