The College is seeking applications for a Fixed-Term (1 year) Technical Consultant – Industry 4.0 Technologies to be based in our Springtown Campus.

The post holder will be responsible for developing relationships with businesses in the area of Industry 4.0 Technologies including Robotics, Automation, Embedded Systems, Digital Transformation, Smart Manufacturing, IoT and mobile network technologies such as 5G, 4G, LTE, etc. They will help businesses by specifying their requirements, new product development and consulting and sharing their knowledge by upskilling.

Working with academic staff and College partners, they will be actively involved in the design, development and delivery of specific interventions within their areas of specialism to meet the outlined requirements. They will also be responsible for income generation and ensuring that the College meets targets within budget and on time.

CONTRACT INFORMATION

  • Salary: £38,220 to Point 30, £40,777 per annum
  • Duration: Fixed-Term (1 year)
  • Hours: 36 per week
  • Annual Leave: 24 days per annum
  • Pension: NILGOSC Pension Scheme
