The College is seeking applications to join our Casual Worker Register for work relating to Examination Invigilators, whose overall purpose will be to invigilate examinations offered by the College. This register enables the College to engage individuals on an ‘as and when required’ basis to meet fluctuating operational needs.
Under the terms of the register:
- The College is not obliged to offer you work at any time.
- You are not obliged to accept any work that may be offered to you.
- Each period of work you undertake will constitute a separate engagement, there shall be no relationship between the parties after the end of one assignment and before the start of any subsequent assignment, and there is no expectation of ongoing or regular work.
- Your inclusion on the register does not guarantee hours, future work, or continuity of work.
If you are successful at interview, you will be placed on the register and contacted if and when work becomes available.
CONTRACT INFORMATION
- Salary - Band 3 - £13.62 - £13.84 per hour
- Annual leave and statutory days are paid for by way of an allowance for accrued holidays calculated on a pro rata basis. This allowance is paid as an additional sum at the end of term and amounts up to 23 days per year (i.e. 1.92 days per month).
