The Role
This hands-on role supports all facets of station operations, from livestock work and property maintenance to infrastructure and systems management. Reporting to the Station Manager, you’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive crew. The role is ideal for a well-rounded operator—comfortable with a bit of everything, not just livestock.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handle and manage livestock, including mustering, branding, weaning, and vaccinations
- Perform fencing, repairs, and water/property maintenance
- Support data recording using tools like NLIS, Farmbot, and AgriWebb
- Contribute to safe operations and uphold WHS standards
- Engage with the local team and community events
