You'll be an experienced On‑Site Project Manager to oversee the safe and effective delivery of renewable energy projects across North / Central Qld. Power without pause. The Project Site Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end coordination, leadership, and execution of renewable energy construction activities directly at site. This includes thermal generation, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), wind, solar PV, and hybrid energy projects. This role is hands‑on, site‑based, and requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and practical project delivery expertise to ensure all site activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with design and quality standards.
What you’ll do as Project Site Manager:
- Lead daily on‑site project operations from mobilisation through commissioning.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe and productive work execution.
- Coordinate site logistics, sequencing of works, and interface management between disciplines.
- Maintain strong collaboration with engineering, procurement, and off‑site project management teams.
- Drive a strong site safety culture and ensure full compliance with Aggreko and regulatory HSE requirements.
- Monitor daily progress against construction schedules and milestones.
- Work closely with clients, landowners, consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure project expectations are met.
- Ensure all construction activities meet technical specifications and quality standards.
You are:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager, Site Manager, or Construction Manager in renewable energy, utilities, or large‑scale infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies for BESS, solar, wind, thermal or hybrid systems.
- Experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams in remote or site‑based environments.
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, site compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, project scheduling tools, and construction management software.
