To join our Waste Services Team working from Linden Way Depot in Coalville to undertake waste collection and other related duties. The job involves loading refuse, green waste and recyclable materials on the various collection rounds around the district and may from time to time include other cleansing duties.

Reporting to a Crew Leader and managed by the team of Refuse and Recycling Supervisors, you need to be physically fit to undertake the job and be flexible and adaptable in what can be an ever-changing working environment. Good attendance and punctuality is essential and you must be willing and able to carry out a variety of loading and cleansing duties as required by your Supervisors. You must also demonstrate and deliver excellent customer care and show respect for residents, managers and colleagues alike.

37 hrs per week with an annual salary of £26,112 - £26,526.

  • Four day working week – between Monday and Friday
  • 6.5 weeks holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 7.5 weeks after 5 years (full time equivalent)
