We are seeking a new Strategic Director of Resources to lead a number of key service areas including finance, procurement, ICT, revenues & benefits and business change. As our Section 151 Officer you will ensure robust financial management and governance and oversee an extensive capital programme. Your leadership will help us deliver on key priorities such as regeneration, improved customer experience, and local government reorganisation.
This is a great opportunity to join us at a time of change and transformation at the council so we are seeking forward thinking, innovative and politically astute candidates with excellent leadership skills, who can work at a strategic level as well as develop what is already a strong finance team. As the Section 151 Officer, you will need considerable senior finance experience in a local government setting.
