Strategic Director of Resources (S151 Officer)

We are seeking a new Strategic Director of Resources to lead a number of keyservice areas including finance, procurement, ICT, revenues & benefits andbusiness change. As our Section 151 Officer you will ensure robust financialmanagement and governance and oversee an extensive capital programme.

Your leadership will help us deliver on key priorities such as regeneration,
improved customer experience, and local government reorganisation.
This is a great opportunity to join us at a time of change and transformation
at the council so we are seeking forward thinking, innovative and politically
astute candidates with excellent leadership skills, who can work at a strategiclevel as well as develop what is already a strong finance team. As the Section151 Officer, you will need considerable senior finance experience in a localgovernment setting.
