We’re looking for an experienced Planning Enforcement Team Leader to join our busy Planning and Development Team. Leading and developing a proactive enforcement team, managing a varied caseload including complex enforcement cases across both urban and rural areas of the district. We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of working in a planning enforcement role in a local planning authority, with a solid understanding of current planning and enforcement legislation and policy.
A recognised planning qualification to degree level or comparable professional experience in another enforcement environment is required. The ideal candidate needs to be able to prioritise workloads effectively to meet deadlines and confident in communicating with a wide range of people. If you want to play a key role in shaping the future of the district, this is a fantastic opportunity to take a proactive, solution-focused approach to enforcement and lead a team that’s committed to consistently delivering to high standards.
- 36.25 hrs per week with an annual up to £46,142 (pay award pending) plus £963 pa essential car user allowance
