Planning and Development Enforcement Team Leader
We\’re looking for an experienced Planning Enforcement Team Leader to join our busy Planning and Development Team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a proactive enforcement team, managing a varied caseload that includes complex enforcement matters across both urban and rural areas of the district. You\’ll have experience working within a planning enforcement team in a local planning authority, with a solid understanding of current planning and enforcement legislation and policy. A recognised planning qualification to degree level or comparable professional experience in another enforcement environment is required.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, able to prioritise workloads effectively, and confident in communicating with a wide range of people. You\’ll be motivated, resilient, and capable of working under pressure to meet challenging deadlines, while also being a team player. If you\’re someone who relishes a challenge, has the drive and enthusiasm to make a difference, and wants to play a key role in shaping the future of the district, this is a fantastic opportunity to take a proactive, solution-focused approach to enforcement and lead a team that\’s committed to delivering high standards.
