Multi Skilled Roofer
North West Leicestershire District Council is a busy council, working across our communities to help people and businesses thrive.
We are looking for a Multi-skilled Roofer to join our busy and dedicated team responsible for a wide range of repairs, maintenance, and improvement works to the council’s tenanted housing stock. Most of the work will be carried out in occupied homes, with some tasks in vacant properties.
Ideally, you will have strong roofing experience along with additional skills in areas such as plastering. As part of a customer-focused team, you must consistently deliver high-quality work that meets the council’s high standards, while providing excellent service to our residents.
To apply you must
• Hold an NVQ in Roof Slating and Tiling Level 2, City and Guilds or an equivalent industry recognised certificate in roofing or can you demonstrate demonstrable time served experience in the roofing trade?
• Hold a current full UK driving licence?
• 37 hrs per week with an annual salary of £33,271 – £37,115
• 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 38 days after 5 years
• Attractive Local Government Pension Scheme with at least 25% employer’s contribution
