North West Leicestershire District Council is a busy council, working across our communities to help people and businesses thrive. We’re looking for a Multi Skilled Carpenter to join our busy Responsive Repairs, Voids and Minor Works Team based at Whitwick Business Centre. You will be joining a busy team that handles all types of maintenance and improvements across a diverse range of occupied and vacant properties.
You will be working in a customer-focused environment and you must be able to consistently deliver excellent customer service and ensure the quality of your work meets the council’s required high standards.
To apply you must:
- Hold a NVQ/City in Guilds Level 2 or an industry recognised equivalent in carpentry and joinery
- Have a working knowledge of the relevant Health and Safety Legislation and safe working practices
- Hold a current full UK driving licence
37 hrs per week with an annual salary of £34,396 - £38,051
34 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 38 days after 5 years
