Overview
Income Assistant – join our Rent Accounting team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for reconciling all housing-related income on a daily and weekly basis. You’ll handle transactional enquiries from council tenants, Housing colleagues, other council departments, and the Department for Work and Pensions. You’ll also manage income collection and outstanding balances for former tenants, Safe and Well service users, and other housing-related debts. We’re looking for someone who is customer-focused, highly organised, accurate, confident, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
Reconcile all housing-related income on a daily and weekly basis. Handle transactional enquiries from council tenants, Housing colleagues, other council departments, and the Department for Work and Pensions. Manage income collection and outstanding balances for former tenants, Safe and Well service users, and other housing-related debts.
Qualifications
Customer-focused, highly organised, accurate, confident, and has excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- 36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £28,598 – £32,061
