The Council successfully secured a C2 rating from the Regulator in 2025 and we are now seeking a dynamic and focussed housing professional who can ensure that next time we achieve a C1. You will focus on ensuring that we are responding positively to the new regulatory regime and engaging effectively with those partners who can help us make a difference.
Responsible for specialist ICT systems within the department, your role will be key in ensuring all parts of the housing service can carry out their roles effectively and efficiently. You will also ensure that our rent accounting function effectively maintains the rent debit and that the annual increases in rent and charges are communicated to customers and administered accurately requiring working closely with Benefits and Department for Work and Pensions. You will also ensure our data is robust and fit for purpose to ensure we fulfil our statutory reporting obligations in an evolving regulatory framework.
Benefits:- 36.25 hrs per week with a starting annual salary starting at £41,771 (Band G £41,771 to 46,142)
