Planning and Development Team Leader – lead a busy Planning and Development Team in North West Leicestershire and shape development across the district.
Responsibilities and Skills
Lead and develop a team of Planning Officers, supervising staff and motivating team members. Manage major and contentious planning applications and apply current planning legislation and policy. Demonstrate strong organisational skills, prioritise workloads effectively, communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, and work resiliently under pressure to meet challenging deadlines.
Qualifications
Previous experience supervising a Planning Team and dealing with complex applications. Recognised qualification in planning or an equivalent to degree level. Membership or eligibility for membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute required.
