An opportunity to join the Council’s Financial Planning Team as Housing Revenue Accounts Finance Business Partner during an exciting time as we further develop and improve our financial management and processes following the implementation of Unit 4 ERPx. You will support the Council’s Housing Service with the annual budget setting and monitoring processes, along with providing ad-hoc financial advice, undertaking project work and year end closure activities. You will also help by contributing to the overall HRA financial strategy, playing an integral role in contributing to continuous improvement and increased efficiency in the delivery of the Housing Service.
You must have previous experience of working in a financial planning environment, with some knowledge of Housing Revenue Accounts. You will also need experience of effective budget preparation and monitoring, understanding of statutory accounting and reporting requirements, general accounting principles and report writing.
36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £37,820 - £40,777. Agile working scheme with a combination of home and office working. 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 38 days after 5 years.
