An opportunity to join the Council's Financial Planning Team in a key role as Housing Revenue Account (HRA) Finance Business Partner. In this role you will support the Council's Housing Service in managing the HRA with annual budget setting and monitoring processes, provide ad‐hoc financial advice, undertake project work and year‐end closure activities, and contribute to the overall HRA financial strategy, continuous improvement and increased efficiency in the delivery of the Housing Service.
Qualifications
- You must have previous experience of working in a financial planning environment, ideally with some knowledge of Housing Revenue Accounts.
- Demonstrable experience of effective budget preparation and monitoring.
- Understanding of statutory accounting and reporting requirements.
- General accounting principles.
- Effective report writing.
