Do you have at least one year’s experience of dealing with reports/evidence gathering associated with Enviro Crime or Public Protection or at least one year's experience in the enforcement of Private Sector Housing standards? If so then this role could be for you.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and competent individual to carry out duties in relation to complaints regarding private sector housing, public protection and enviro crime and the administration of the Adapted Homes Improvement Grants. We need you to be an excellent organiser who can work effectively within our Environmental Protection Team and communicate with a variety of internal and external partners, organisations and residents.

You will also be able to build rapport, develop relationships and meet agreed outcomes. You will be able to embrace the use of technology in the workplace and be able to manage multiple cases. You will have an excellent work ethic, will be confident and able to communicate at all levels within the organisation.

As well as having knowledge and experience in enforcement, you can think on your feet and problem solving across a range of disciplines will be second nature to you. Your calm and controlled manner under pressure and constant pursuit of resolutions will demonstrate your ability to succeed.

  • 36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £28,598 - £32,061
  • Agile working scheme with a combination of home and office working
  • 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 38 days after 5 years (full time equivalent)
